This 2025, let me ask you this: what kind of condition do you want your brain to be in? As a brain health coach, I’ve seen firsthand how much easier it is to work with someone who is ready and prepared versus someone who is not. And you know what? Your brain is no different.

I recently shared a video about resetting your brain for the new year—getting it ready for what’s to come. Like the old saying goes, “Be ready so you don’t have to get ready.” When your brain is functioning at its best, it can tackle challenges head-on without unnecessary stress or setbacks. But if your brain isn’t prepared, you may find yourself scrambling to catch up when life throws a curveball.

This reminds me of the biblical parable of the ten virgins and their oil lamps. When the bridegroom came, only those who were prepared could go with him. The others were left behind. We don’t want our brains to be left behind! It’s time to get proactive and prepare them to handle life’s ups and downs with grace and efficiency.

Why Brain Readiness Matters

Here’s a real-life example: years ago, my husband Oliver was in the hospital with sepsis. The illness affected his brain and kidneys, but the doctors were amazed at how strong his immune system was and how quickly he rebounded. While we know that God was in control of that situation, his robust immune system played a supporting role in his recovery. It wasn’t a hindrance; it was an asset.

That’s exactly what we want for our brains. We want them to be assets in our lives, not hindrances. And the sooner we start working on improving our brain health, the better. It’s never too early to start, and it’s never too late either. But studies show that the choices we make in our 40s and 50s can significantly impact our brain health later in life. In fact, one-third of Alzheimer’s cases are linked to lifestyle factors. That means making smarter choices today could prevent serious issues down the road.

Everyday Brain Challenges

Even if Alzheimer’s isn’t on your radar, there’s something else to consider: brain fog. This fuzzy, unclear thinking is becoming increasingly common, and it’s not just affecting older adults. People of all ages are experiencing brain fog, often due to stress. Stress creates the perfect environment for brain fog to thrive, making it harder to focus, remember things, or think clearly.

We’re pretty good at recognizing when our bodies are tired, but how often do we acknowledge when our brains are tired? Ignoring brain fog and pushing through doesn’t solve the problem. It allows toxins to build up, which can lead to even bigger issues. Scientists tell us that our brains have more potential for improvement than any other organ in our bodies. That’s great news because it means we have the power to make a change.

A Fresh Start for 2025

For 2025, I’ve decided to prioritize my brain’s health, and I’d love for you to join me. When we improve our brain health, everything else in our bodies benefits—our hearts, guts, eyes, skin, lungs—you name it. It’s all connected. By focusing on our brains, we’re investing in our overall health and well-being.

That’s why I’ve created a program called Reset 25. This program is all about repairing, rebooting, and restoring our brains. It’s not just about saying, “I want to be healthier.” It’s about taking actionable steps with a specific plan, guidelines, and accountability. Reset 25 is designed to clear out the toxins that hold us back and give our brains the nutrients and support they need to function efficiently.

What’s Included in Reset 25?

In Reset 25, we’ll cover:

  • Practical Tips: Simple, actionable steps you can take daily to support brain health.

  • Accountability: You won’t be doing this alone. I’ll be there to guide you, and you’ll have a community of like-minded individuals.

  • Tools and Resources: Learn how to identify and address brain fog, improve focus, and support long-term brain function.

  • Healthy Habits: Discover how small changes to your diet, exercise routine, and stress management can make a big difference.

The Time to Act Is Now

Why wait until something goes wrong to start taking care of your brain? The sooner you begin, the better your results will be. Whether you’re dealing with brain fog, looking to improve your memory, or simply want to maintain a sharp mind as you age, this program is for you.

Let’s not let another year slip by without prioritizing our brain health. We can make 2025 the year of the brain—a year where we take proactive steps to ensure we’re ready for whatever comes our way.
